We need a top 40 or dance in Houston . What do y'all think.

Change 101.1 to rhythmic 97.5 to fm talk . Mix 965 more top 40 friendly dance . What stations would y'all like gone and some brought back to life. I say 93q damm that really stir it up . Will cox every do it. Cox in Houston needs to be much better.

Let me help you out here before you get some sort of ignorant, or negative response:

97.5 was already FM Talk a couple of years back, but failed.
Even thought Mix 96.5 kinda sounds more KRBEish these days, they wouldn't change it into that direction.
We already have a Top 40 station that is kinda dance friendly (Hot).
And if you want hardcore dance, there's the Energy format on Hot's HD2 signal.

Hope that helps.

BTW, if i wanted to resurrect a station, it will be Power 97.5: the Urban AC version that is. I miss it alot. :'(

A Dance station would fail in 6 months here now a Techno House Breaks Jungle station might do better

As much as a dance station for Houston would be awesome, it most likely won't happen. Besides, Hot 95.7 is pretty dance-friendly (especially during mixshows).

95.7 HD-2 has a dance/techno channel.. Energy 957 HD2

I would place my bet on KLOL 101.1 for the resurrection of Energy, and the moving of Mega on 957HD2, and HOT moving more in a Urban direction since Krackernutz has signed on with KKHT. When Kidd Kraddicks morning show came on Austin's KFMK they moved into a more Rhythmic AC direction shifting away from Rhythmic Oldies in early 2006. He stayed on KFMK until the flip to CHR Rhythmic The Beat in September 2009.

Krackernutz does not work on the air at KKHT. In fact, they have never applied for a job; I would have remembered the interview.

What Houston needs is an active rock station, not more of the top 40 or dance that is already represented.

Sorry I meant KKHH, Hot 957 sorry for the typo. I would be funny if he did work for the Word and then the Box under the same name and hear the chipmunks in the background ???
