We Need GSN2 Now

Whoever made that suggestion, good for you and let's bring it on.

GSN is a joke now.

Dancing With The Stars is a sorry excuse of a show.

Did contact GSN about adding more of the classics to their schedule again but still I wait to hear from them.

P.S. At least I still get to see Gunsmoke on Encore Westerns. That show will always be a favorite of mine and I'm fixing to celebrate my 40th Birthday in April. Amazing isn't it.

If MTV2 has taught us anything, it's that we don't need any more "2" networks. They just end up clones of the main channel eventually.

Sometimes, I think we need some "-1" networks. Take out some of the ones that are already there. And when there's nothing on, go outside or something.

Which I plan on doing, next month.

Will be returning to the yard work.

Took time off, due to my father's knee surgery.

Glad to report he's doing better.

Miss doing the yards and look forward to getting back into it.

TV is very boring right now anyway.

Nothing much to see on it.

I would like to see some of the classic games shows on one of the subchannel networks like RTV, Antenna TV, or MeTV. Since RTV is a little weak in terms of programming right now, some classic games shows could be a nice addition.

I'm pretty sure I was the first on this board (or maybe the classic tv board)
to suggest a GSN 2 to move all the classics to.
That way there'd be more free space to fill with more current game shows.
That's GAME SHOWS NOT reality shows. Let's not mix things up! 8)

Don't mention that too loud around my mother. She lives for DWTS. She was an AI fan too for a while but skipped last year and will skip AI this year too; she got bored with Idol. But I agree, DWTS doesn't belong on GSN.

Yes, because yet more airings of Tic Tac Dough long after the novelty factor from a couple of decades ago is what will deliver bigger numbers.

Technically, game shows are reality shows, if you think about it. That's real money that the contestants won. But I get your point... game shows are more genuine than reality shows, anyway.

If another game show channel started I think CBS would be a good fit for starting the network.

My thinking isn't focused on competition to GSN, really. Just a second channel. That way we can watch more game shows from then and now.

If we're talking about something to compete with GSN, that may be another ugly mess.
There's still the good points though. Any gameshow(s) CBS can air that GSN can't get the rights to, might be something worth watching... (I'm guessing...)
