We No Speak Americano now on CHR!

KZON has previously added intros to all their songs that don't have intros as well, so the intro on this song suits them very well. This is the same thing KKFR was doing last year around this time before a new MD took over and switched up the music a bit and filled in a bunch of 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008 hip hop hits.

My favorite current Pitbull song is "hey baby" by Pitbull ft T-Pain. The Swedish House Mafia ft Pharrell and Pitbull is ok, but is better without the rap.

By the way, I'm beginning to like the We No Speak Americano song now. EVEN MY YOUNGER SISTER liked it when she heard it, and I was surely thinking when it came on the radio while she was around that the next comments out of her mouth were going to be ugly. Her actual words to her friend that was sitting in the living room with her; "....I like it.."

I immediately had to stop doing what I was doing and ran to an otorhinolaryngologist to make sure I was hearing everything correctly.

Jamz will add intros to songs that equal only 16 or 32 count. But the Original version of Americano has a 64 intro, and a 64 outro.....sounds weird on radio. I would at least shorten it down if you're not gonna use the edit....plus there is a long drop.

I examined a few times and I think the KZON version is appropriate. The intro seems longer than it really is. Some form of lyrics do start up after the intro of the song, but because of the way the vocals / lyrics were arranged in the beginning of the song, it still sounds like an intro until some actual full lyrics hit. I don't know how else to describe it in words. I think KZON considers any part of the song that has any form of lyrics as part of the main song, regardless of how "empty" that part of the song may seem (with exception to Kid Cudi "memories" where the only thing he says in intro is "yeah"........"yeah", where I wouldn't really an an intro before that).

I added it to my trainwreck AM 1620 Part 15 3 weeks ago.
Wife and two pre-teen daughters approve.

I absolutely love this song but my music director hates it and apparently most of the listeners on my station do as well. I'm glad and really surprised on how it's taken off although I could do without the Pitbull sampling. oh well, exposure is exposure I guess.

Add KIIS-FM to the list. It was recently #9 at their "Top 9 @ 9".

For some reason, I could actually stand this song now. Not sure if I said this already, but I know some people who call this the "Jersey Shore song".

Off Topic but speaken of jersey Shore.. Id love to Cuddle with Snookie.

The Jersey Shore has been good exposure for dance music.Pauly D has a packed house every city he spins and sure,it's due to his celebrity status but these kids are getting exposed to dance music.

Was happy to hear 92.3 Now play the original version of this but why is SiriusXM playing a version that has some awful talking vocals on it... leave the song be.. it was great as it was...

ON BPM or on HITS ONE,, ive heard only the regular version on both stations unless I wasnt paying attention.

Jersey Shore makes fun of dance music and the people that like it. But it also exposes it to people who never heard it before.

I would start watching it if they promote the dance station broadcasting from the real Jersey shore ;-)
