Heard rumor that WEAG 106.3 FM is going off the air at the end of the year. Can someone confirm if it is true or not. I have listened to this station for years and enjoyed the local programming it has to offer. It would be very disappointing if the owners decide to flip the switch as it is one of the very few radio stations that has a genuine hometown feel. Between the mix of music the station plays (country music with a twist of all your favorites you grew up with), broadcasting Friday Night Lights, the community will feel a major loss if the station goes off the air.
