Weak signals

KCR only broadcasts through an online stream on their Web site. In the past, I believe they've broadcasted on 1620 AM, but it's not in use anymore.

KCR started out as a carrier current station, using the campus electrical system to carry the signal: there was enough radiation from that to pick it up in some nearby off-campus locations as well.

There's a good history of KCR's startup at http://www.kcralumni.org/founding.html (Ken Kramer was involved in the startup).
