and, has anybody else noticed what a complete 100% total BABE the Weather Channel's Alexandra Steele is? I don't know where her accent comes from but I count her shift as Must See TV.

At last, OC....We're on the same page!

But I miss her 'travel forecasts' early mornings....made me WANT to get up during those days on the road...just to see her eyes....and that smile.....

oh, yeah...and find out about travel delays, too....

Weather

Can you detect the origin of her accent? It's like a wierd mix of New England and deep south- part of her charm <LOL>.

What does this have to do with radio? Unless she does weather forecasts for radio stations.<P ID="signature">______________

Thread has now been moved to the National TV board. Next time, please use the "report to moderator" link instead of questioning it in public.

Gee, at one time, we had her all to ourselves! :)

I don't know where her accent is from, but I DO know that she once worked at WTNH-TV (ABC) channel 8 of New Haven, CT (Hartford market). Around Christmas time last year, TWC had a local insert with Alex saying "Happy Holidays Hartford from all of us at The Weather Channel!". Maybe it was inserted with the Local On The 8s, but it sure looked like it was aired nationally.

BTW, my "hottie" at TWC is presently Hillary Andrews, followed by Stephanie Abrams. :p

Maybe this is my age showing but in New York (WPIX - WB11) we have this one weather lady, Linda Church. She looks somewhere in her upper 30's/low 40's but she has that appeal (and let me go about this in a roundabout way since a similar post I had made was deleted), that a lot of younger guys, a la "American Pie", would crave...a la "soccer mom that hits the gym"

Was that going roundabout or what! LOL

I did look it up. She was originally from Albany, NY, which tells me she has that "Upstate" accent going, where they over pronounce the "a"...as in "haave", a sort of mix between Midwest/New England. If you go further west in New York, towards Rochester and Buffalo, the accent gets thicker.

And of course, you can't talk about "weather babes" without displaying what makes her such! :)

Weather

Nothing. But if I put this in the Off The Air board, it goes to the bottomof page one because at the top remains that insipid "sticky" about no-politics, which is about 100 posts long.

It's called "having some innocent fun".

TV Weather

National TV- that makes sense. Tried to put it on Off The Air, but it's impossible for a new thread to get seen with that mind-numbing 'sticky' discussion on politics knocking everything else below it.

BTW- where is National TV on this board? I see Classic TV toward the bottom.

Not for nothing...but some of the "young bloods" here might WANT to check out those "daycare moms"! LOL Thank movies like "American Pie" for that! :) They get lonely too!
