Weather Nation

tested said:
There's a new "weather channel" type of outfit called "Weather Nation" that's launched recently.
I suspect they are now providing weather for subchannels on those two stations much like Accuweather does on other stations.
Here's their website: http://weathernationtv.com
You can actually watch them on ustream too: http://www.ustream.tv/wntv

There's no 'sub' about WHDT's affiliation; they've jumped the RTV ship and put it on their main station as of tomorrow. It also fulfills their mission of actually getting a full-HD network affiliation (RTV had none to speak of, expect for their awful auto block).

I'm not terribly impressed with what i've seen of them. When I was in Montana, the Helena newspaper put them on their website. And this is the same outfit that Dish Network (or DirecTV) was supposed to drop The Weather Channel for.

The on-air mets basically run everything during the recording, including switching camera angles - so production wise it's not all that great.
