Weather on WABC

What the hell is with the gas bag Bill Evans on WABC?? What a joke! Bring your rain gear?? Come on, tell me the weather in less than 40 seconds. He obviously likes the sound of his voice. Also, who thinks WABC listeners need all the traffic and weather all day?? Have they noticed WCBS and WINS exist in NYC? 4 tines an hour?? Also, those weathers sound all very similar...are they all recorded?? When??
 
Yep! I made it a point listening very carefully to Bill Evens weather reports, and its a shame how they try to pass it on as live reports, it is recorded!
 
A few times in AM and PM drive they do a live shot; mostly the weather reports are recorded and run over a four to six hour period. Notice that the weather person gives a forecast and the news person gives the temperature and other current readings.

I wonder what idiot decided that weather needed a weather star to read a forecast. It worked fine to have the newscaster, DJ or announcer just read the forecast from the weather bureau (available free).

its a wonder they don't air more of it.
 
Let's hope WABC uses live traffic! With a company like Cumulus anything is possible. Does anybody work for them news wise?
