Huh? WCBM is Baltimore. WRKO is Boston. They're airing a Baltimore weather update in Boston?

Sounds like a Weather Channel mistake since WCBM is not an iHeart station.

Not a big surprise, on the Cape since the January iHeart cuts I've heard Hot AC 106 WCOD refer to itself as Classic Hits, Cool 102 during afternoon drive. Now that the morning guy from WCIB is voice tracking afternoons on WCOD guess there is some confusion. The Jonas Brothers and Shawn Mendes would probably be confused to be referred to as classic hits.

I was just listening to some old airchecks of WRKO, WKBW and a couple others and its amazing that with all the technology today they still can't beat a person with a couple record players and cart machines 40-50 years ago. What they are doing now is supposedly cheaper - and it sounds it.

Speaking of Baltimore at one point Salem was running syndie conservative talk on 1150 here---WTTT at the time-- and the station's website had a nice picture of the
skyline...of Baltimore. Charm City, not the Hub..

One foulup I remember I think on RKO when they were Red Sox flagship--game ended and someone didn't throw on other programming so via an open mike we heard Jerry Trupiano saying, "Well I'm gonna grab a bite to eat on the way to the airport" to a colleague.

In Connecticut, a Yankees game was called off after a rain delay and someone at WPOP wasn't around or paying attention so they wound up running a few minutes of WCBS Newsradio before someone quicky threw on a sports network feed.
