Weathermen vs. Meteorologists

Atlanta has had at least four women I would classify as weathergirls;
I've mentioned Dagmar Midcap. There was also Eleanor Knight (WXIA,
then known as WAII, and WAGA in the '60s), Linda Faye Carson (wife
of then-Georgia Tech head football coach Bud Carson, WXIA, then known
as WQXI, 1969 (at the latest)-1972), and Gail Janus (WXIA, 1976-79).

There was also one on WCPO Cincinnati in the late '50s known only as
Paula Jane.

And I remember one around 1973 on WSPA Spartanburg, SC: Suzy Dutton,
who sounded as if she might have been born in England. The station moved
her to head of human resources a few years later.
