WeatherNation tv is now live

Weathernation tv the new weather channel is now LIVE please go over and LIKE their facebook website at www.facebook.com/weathernation also please share the facebook page with friends, family, coworkers, whoever you can get to LIKE the website. Also contact your tv company and let them know that you want this channel. Hope to see you over there on their FACEBOOK soon

They have a Ustream live window on their Facebook page. Not bad. If my wi-fi connection would cooperate more often, it'd be great. No unrelated movies, specials, or reality interruptions! Can't wait to see what kind of cable and sat carriage they can come up with.

The graphics they use from Baron are the best in the world. I sure do hope that they can get things together on sat and cable. Oh a big surprise from them is coming in August so stay tune

I really wish Weathernation a lot of success. From what I've seen they are really bringing back "weather" to television.

Am I wrong, or are one of their voice over artists somebody I used to hear on The Weather Channel back in the day? At least we have another choice now! :)

Yeah next month some changes are coming. So stay tune. Also call your local cable/ sat carrier and let them know you want this channel

Will they have local weather inserts similar to The Weather Channel's "Local on the 8s"?

Well, doing that would get kinda close to TWC's patent portfolio covering their STAR system, wouldn't it?

Why is Memphis on the "National Map" and not Nashville? That kind of stuff makes this network look like the "All News Channel or INN News" of weather!

Seriously? The choice of one medium-sized city over another (smaller) medium-sized city makes them look like INN?

1. In case you failed geography class when you were a kid, NASHVILLE IS OUR STATE CAPITAL!

2. When you total up Nashville's city limits/suburbs vs. Memphis's city limits/suburbs, Nashville is slightly bigger.

3. Nashville is TV market #30 & radio market #44, Memphis is TV market #47 & radio market #49.

The end result: Either Nashville needs to replace Memphis on the "Weathernational" map or put both of them on the map.

Very cool that they have Kristin Clark - her parents are Tom and Noreen Clark, both meterologists themselves and mainstays on WNEP in Scranton for close to 30 years....

Really?!? I personally think Memphis is more prominent than Nashville.

And Albany is the state capital of New York, and yet I don't hear ABC, CBS, and NBC being called "the INN of weather" for not listing Albany. Are you similarly offended that Cheyenne isn't on the map? How about Salem? Augusta? Montpelier? (If you haven't noticed, no, I did not fail geography, thank you very much.)

Slightly larger. However, the city of Memphis is larger than the city of Nashville. Philadelphia is a larger city and it's not on the map.

Yeah, I know. They're INN-quality, just like this weather-related television network that also has Memphis rather than Nashville. http://www.weather.com/maps/maptype/forecastsusnational/usweathertoday_large.html

I am betting this channel is never carried by Comcast since they wouldn't want the competition to their company owned Weather Channel.
Umm.....I hate to burst your bubble BUT they already have WeatherScan on Channel 212 here in Denver.....

Plus KUSA 9 (NBC) uses AccuWeather for its WeatherPlus digi channel (Which is on Comcast Digital 249)

Cheers :D
