Web stream content between the live local content

Listening online to Rick The Fix-It Guy on the WPHT web feed this morning. They were advertising the WNEW-FM web channel during spots. Is the stream that is played when a CBS station goes to spots a national feed that all CBS stations hook into? I would think they would be customizing this stream to promote local programing instead of out of market programming. ???

I wouldn't think a web channel is market specific, I'm always tuning into krock-2 from NY or O-Rock hd2 down in Orlando. Now if you heard an ad for Fresh 102.7 or 92.3 krock, it'd be a bit weird.

Is Rick only on the web feed, or is he also on-air at WPHT?

Also, is he still paired up with Art, The Other Fix-It Guy?

Rick is on the broadcast side, but is also on the web stream for obvious reasons. Art is no longer part of the show.

I wasn't listening to a web channel. It was the live stream of WPHT.

I've heard commercials for the new Brian McKnight morning show on KTWV in L.A., as well as something called "All Number One Radio" (which is the HD2 channel of the oldies station in Denver) during commercial breaks on the streams of stations from WIP in Philly to KPTK in Seattle.

Do you recall what shift Rick is working? Also, do you know why Art is no longer a part of the show? When they worked together, Art usually "ran" the show.

Art hasn't been on in quite a while with Rick. Last I heard, Art was having "Issues" outside the radio world, and hasn't been seen or heard of in months.

Rick is on Saturday morning from 11:00 to Noon.

Art has apparently been implicated, with a number of other contractors, with allegedly misappropriating customer funds and deposits for work which was never performed. I hope it's not true. A caller asked Rick about Art's whereabouts one Saturday. Rick's reply was 'He's moved on to other things".
