I bet Jammin' 107.7 will get really mad at WEBE for this, since it already gets squashed by them before WEBE got IBOC. I wonder if I'll be able to hear its IBOC hash all the way here during tropo.
______________

I remember when 107.7 went on a number of years back we did get complants
from a few people in Old Saybrook and the towns up that way about reception
of WEBE 108. So I do not think Jammin will have any problems. Remember the power
of the digital signal is only 1% of your analog power.

Congrats, Ed. Last time I checked, about 6 months ago at the Joe D's chain, units weren't available yet. Are they in the stores now?

Did you install a new antenna, or an aux, on the smokestack? or are you low (or high) level combining?

Currently we are running into the aux. later this month we will install
a Dielectric Dibrid Combiner. When compleat it will be operating into the main ant.
It is high level combining.

Just how in the heck did the station's transmitter wind up on the side of a smokestack to begin with? Do the pollutants from the pipe ever mess up the attached equipment?
______________

The antenna is to the side of the stack. Usually the exhaust is out the top.
Plus the antenna has radomes on it, so one would think those help protect from falling soot.
