WEBK Ratings Distortion ???

What's this I hear.. An on air sweeper.. "105.3 The Peak, Write it down".. Could that be considered distortion by mega-ratings company that defines market #179 as Lebanon, Rutland, White River Junction ?

We'd hate to think that the good people programming WEBK that we like, (outside of the Yankees) are being set up for failure by "The Professor of Programming" and "Pokey Bear" who I'd like to think are educated on this stuff. I hope I'm worng about this, but somehow I doubt it..

Could it be that Gilligan's Island is sinking around the Professor and Mary Anne? Perhaps the revenues on the island are sinking as well? Can Gilligan and the Captain save the gang before its too late? Will Global Warming claim its first victims? One last chance for the Yankee Clipper before it goes down?

Maybe the ratings geeks at Pamal Rutland are hoping for one ... just one ... show in the ratings before the axe falls?

Stay tuned...

I've heard that "Pam" and "Al"'s dad has been making quite a few trips to "The Island" of late.. You can't blame the programming on WEBK for the clusters' apparant revenue woes.. Of course, everytime I want to hear WEBK, which is usually at night.. the freaking Yankees are on.. That had to be the absolute dumbest and I mean dumbbest move on Pamal Rutland's part.. Lets see.. 101 The Fox, 16 regular season football games.. Great idea.. A full baseball season taking away nights and weekends for 6 + months.. "Peak" listening times.. Put the Yankees on WJJR.. I bet that would make more buckaroos than "Delilah". The Professor can now record a sweeper that says, "We're your official everything to everyone, anytime you want radio station, "Mix 98.1"...
