WECK/Breeze

I would buy it just to be able to say "At one time as a young man I worked here and made one dollar per hour, now I own it and make less than that"

Tom Donahoe still doing mornings? If so, is he live or is it voice-tracked?

Who took Kevin O'Connell's place on weekday afternoon drive?

I haven't listened to 1230 AM in quite some time.

You're in good company. Doesn't it seem crazy that this station doesn't use the W-E-C-K call letters, which are immediately identifiable to potential listeners in Buffalo and Western New York? What 18-90 year old doesn't know "WECK" --- as in "beef on 'weck, the roll." In one form or another, the word must be printed on a million menus in Western New York. It's immediately identifiable, yet for some crazy reason the owner chooses to market the station as ""the Breeze."

I , for one would notice. I like the eclectic mix that I hear, as well as Not hearing the same 200 songs in 4 hour rotation. Reminds me of the line from Private Parts {Stern} when people were asked why they listened....they wanted to hear what he'd say next. I like hearing what they play next! At least they're trying something that's not Cookie-Cutter Radio. For me, it's the next best thing to listening to David Marsden out of Oshawa, Ont.
Hang in there independant radio owners!!
