WECK IN THE 1980'S

Frank, no one will get back to you. They are all jealous about the success of WECK. They focus on only the bad. If you had something negative to say, they would be all over it.
As long as you can sell spots, who cares, right?
Maybe it's just that the people who worked there in the '70s and '80s are now in their 70s and 80s.
I just remember my grandmother used to have WECK tuned in on her kitchen radio back in the 1980's and also the tape librarian in the UB computer room used to have it tuned in on a table radio while she was working in the early 1990's (yes it came in fine even with a room full of 2 mainframe computers and several mini computers nearby).
As I recall back in the 1980's with the music of your life format WECK was top 10, maybe top 5 12+ for a while.
