WEDH Broadcasting After Midnight

I noticed this week that Channel 24 WEDH is broadcasting after midnight now.

I'm not sure if this applies to all the CPTV affiliates. Before, they would sign off at that time.

WEDH is broadcasting after midnight to match the cable service so the feed to DirecTV isn't interrupted overnight. (They currently direct feed the cable systems a 24 hour feed and wanted to match that on DirecTV.)

CPTV provided their 24 hour feed to cable companies in CT only at one point. Now that explains why WEDH is now available 24 hours on Comcast and Charter systems in western Massachusetts. Nice move by CPTV.

Since Saturday night, they are back to signing off at midnight..
