Wednesday night on 1470...what WAS that?

...flipping around the dial while I'm at the drive-thru Wed. night, and I put it on 1470. Words cannot really describe what I heard. I guess they were trying to air an Orlando Magic game, but the sound kept cutting out every second. It was like someone hitting the mute button on a TV remote, then unmuting it for a split second, then hitting the mute button again...and so on and so forth.

...and then you wonder why we couldn't get Orlando Magic games in this market for nearly eight years...

...well, its because no one really wanted to AIR Magic games in this market.

When it comes to hoops here, you get a college influx from out of towners for the tourneys...USF has trouble drawing fans for both mens and womens.

Remember, only when the team wanted to start squeezing Orlando for a better home and more money did the team even show its face in Tampa for a few pre season tilts.

Calls for pro hoops here? No Body Answers....

That didn't really answer my question though. I was wondering why it sounded as if there were a major technical problem in broadcasting, or should I say attempting to broadcast the game...
