WEEI on Twitter touting "major announcement" at 3:30 today on OMF.

Merloni, meanwhile, posts that he'll "discuss his future plans" at 3:30.

What's up?
 
Merloni will be a regular part of Sox broadcasts (again) so maybe he will only occasionally be on with Ordway and Fauria. While some wondered if Lou could become Red Sox manager, the name of Ron Reinicke has been the latest rumor.
And I believe Greg Hill will have some kind of restaurant review show Saturdays on WEEI.

I kinda like the idea of Lou Merloni as Red Sox manager. He certainly has a strong grasp of the game in much more that just the "between the lines" stuff.

The thought of Ron Reinicke as manager leaves me thoroughly underwhelmed...which probably means he'll get the job.:mad:

On Feb 22 get ready for whatever this is..
OMF will be onhand for the first game of Spring Training... Doing play by play and commentary, giving away stuff
