WEEI college guy Ted Sarandis did NOT get my vote

Hope Winthrop's Ted Sarandis watches my TV show on Monday and Friday nights on WCAT, but he did NOT
get my vote today

http://www.tednation.us/ted_sarandis_news.htm

So here's a little plug for TedNation on the radio board. About the only P.R. he's getting.

Governor’s Councilor Mike Callahan D Medford got my vote.

Heck, if Jim Haggerty of the Woburn Daily Crimes & Tonicle, an editor who forgets to give writers a by-line
(see my Malachy McCourt interview published in that paper with no by-line) is endorsing Ted Nation, that's just another reason to vote for the other guy. Jimmy boy DOES give himself a byline! HA

Full Disclosure: I was writing columns for their competition THE WOBURN ADVOCATE back in the day.
Woburn Advocate paid better! Oh well...

For Governor’s Council Ted Sarandis wants reform from top to bottom

--‘Ted Nation’ well-known as WEEI talk show host

Joe, please let go of your anger over this situation. It is holding you back from breaking through.

Sarandis not in my district; I voted for the Dem. incumbent (M. Manning)...
the political/talk radio connection:

Peter Blute (WRKO and now WCRN)
Ray Flynn ('RKO)
Marge Clapprood (WRKO and briefly WMEX 1060)
Vincent "Buddy" Cianci (WPRO? WHJJ?)
Mario Cuomo (syndie talk show)
Jesse Jackson (" " ")
Al Franken--said to be running for MN Senator

Didn't Janet Jeghelian run for office, or was a selectwoman?
A T-shirt company in Maine has "Howie Carr For Senate" shirts. I think there
used to be bumper stickers, "Dave Maynard (or was it Larry Glick), Governor of New England"

a caller said he gave Howie Carr a vote for Secretary of State. Howie said that's one more than Jill Stein. Not true, I know 3 people that voted for her including me.

make it four.. .I voted for Jill.

Janet ran for senator in the Republican primary against Romney in '94 and lost... Romney went on to face Ted.

With all these Democratic gains nationwide you wonder if Varulven will say that the GOP is stealing
elections again. :) And keeping this a radio topic (so it doesn't get sent to Off the Air), what coverage
is everyone watching/listening to tonight? I have WRKO on the radio and occasionally go surfing on
TV: NECN, Ch 38, FoxNews, CNN, MSNBC. Wonder if Deval's victory speech will be during the 11 pm news.

the crawl on Ch 38 says Ted is up to a mighty 8 (8!) per cent of the vote in the Dist6 Gov Council race

wow...you're a very astute observer of the game...i don't get what's going on in your brain....wow...i am not responsible for what goes over the air on this radio station between midnight and 7pm...wow..i'm not gonna talk to a jerk like you!!

And this, my friends, is why we need a domed stadium here. (16 year old boy calls in): Hey willya
do me a favor, willya call me back in about 12 years...We really should focus on college sports,
on the minor leagues, on...

Todd Feinburg was unprofessional and rude. 70 per cent voted for Ted Kennedy - we want to hear the
speech, not the catcalls and then the low-rated Feinburg's point of view. Out of touch with Massachusetts is what this station is.

to answer your question, Raccoon, the Republicans ARE trying to steal some elections,
but the tidal wave of dislike for Bush is making it impossible. We need a good impeachment to help out radio.

We have MSNBC on, I was listening to Sully on BZ in the car, but we have MSNBC on at home. We put Fox on to laugh!

Feinburg is a host on an opinion/talk station. He should be doing the outrageous/outlandish, especially when dealing with such a joke of a race. Are people really interested in what Ted Kennedy has to say during his acceptance speech? Why?
Listeners aren't and shouldn't be tuning into WRKO to hear the speech in its entirety. That's what WBZ is for.

come on Bob, get your facts straight... not a domed stadium.. one with a retractable roof! :D
