WEEI: Dale & Holley for next few weeks and maybe more

http://www.bostonglobe.com/sports/2...eidPR2NnTouetRd4N/story.html?s_campaign=sm_tw

>>Michael Holley and Dale Arnold, a well-rated and received tandem on the sports radio station’s midday program from March 2005 until February 2011, will reunite in afternoon drive for the next several weeks — and perhaps beyond.
“They sound good together, Dale brings out the best in Michael and vice versa,’’ said Entercom Boston vice president and market manager Phil Zachary, who revealed that the show will also include a rotating cast of third hosts.

D&H

March 2005 until February 2011,

That time period was EEI at its peak. It's a bit different now. They have competition.

What's going on in AM-drive doesn't have much feeling of stability. One of the three will probably move and I don't think it will be Minihane.

See you tomorrow at 2:00 PM on @WEEI. #longtimecoming pic.twitter.com/01BBB3srP8 thats Dale Arnolds latest tweet does this mean it's permanent?? if so what do you all think i'm sticking with the sports hub or Glenn Ordways new show!!

Making it seem that way (a comment reply: >Good To Have You Back Full Time Dale! graphic w Dale and Holley)

Is Merloni doing a lot of Sox games (he's on now w Joe Castig) so middays it must be Mutt on his own or Mutt with
rotating co-hosts...?

usually if i remember right he would fill in for Dave O'brien who was doing final four or espn games.

Company email:

Team,

As many of you already know or heard we have decided to continue with Dale and Holley in afternoons from 2pm-6pm. Their natural chemistry along with their extensive knowledge of New England sports made it a no brainer. This is a show that was successful in middays three years ago and we’re very confident that we will be able to grow our listenership with their return in afternoon drive.

You may have also noticed that we have changed our imaging voice back to Jim Cutler (WEEI’s original voice/Voice of ESPN Radio). Jim started his career at WEEI and is passionate about making the brand the best it can be. Teamed up with our new imaging director Matt Anthony, you will hear a refreshed sound focused on topical content and fun.

This is just the start of more exciting news and adjustments to come. Thank you for all you do and feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.

Kevin
