WEEI-FM in the Hartford Book

I was surprised to see WEEI-FM from RI show up in the Hartford Spring book and still in the first summer trend.

I guess it's because they're carrying the Red Sox, but so is WTIC-AM and they went down somewhat in the first summer trend.

They don't have much of a showing (.4) but at least they're in the book. That's more than you can say about some local area AMers like WXCT, WPRX, WMRD, WKND, WTMI, WNEZ & WDZK. All those stations and not even a whisper of a number for any of them in the ratings.

1. WXCT runs a format that no one in their right mind would listen to and the station sounds like crap.

2. WPRX hasn't shown up in a couple years. Not sure why.

3. WKND can't even reach Hartford from Windsor.

4. WTMI is only 490 watts daytime/11 watts (or is it 6 or 21?).

5. WMRD targets Middletown/The ShoreLine not Hartford.

6. WNEZ is a speciality station with Spanish language News/Talk and Music.

7. WDZK is Radio Disney. Radio DIsney doesn't care about the ratings.

Last I checked, so is WXCT...
