Anyone know who does the voice over work for WEEI. Seems to me I've heard him elsewhere.

Thanks,

If I remember correctly, I think he was the voice on WBEA 104.7 "Beach Radio" on Long Island before they moved to 101.7 and "The Wolf" debuted on 104.7.

It's Jim Cutler. ESPN, WB and one of the few genuine nice people in voiceovers. I worked with him in 94-95.

So Cutler will be the imaging voice of two Boston sports stations once ESPN Radio debuts? Interesting!

Local ESPN stations get almost no ratings, and you know how bad that signal is. I would be surprised if WEEI cared at all. Espn Boston will have an equally bigvoice to do their announcements.

You are correct. Also, Jim's been doing voicers for WEBE 108 (107.9) in Westport CT since the early 90s.

I'm not really into the 'tough guy' announcer voice, to be honest... but it's a little better than the nerdy voice on WWZN... "the zoooooooooone...."
