WEEI "MOVING" TO FM?

Boston Herald's Jessica Haslam is reporting today that the Weekly Dig's "Media Farm" column is stating that Entercom plans to move the WEEI programming to Mike-FM's 93.7 frequency after it (Entercom) purchases WFNX (101.7) and moves the Mike-FM format there.

"If it's in the Sun (Herald) it must be so!" (that little girl who wrote a NY paper asking if Santa was real)
"They wouldn't print it if it wasn't true"--Joe Jackson, "Sunday Papers"

And yeah, Dewey beat Truman, didn't he? Anyway, yes Jessica was pointing out what one blog was saying even though Phnx. and Ent. were both denying (though who knows?). Slow news day? As we've been saying, it's unlikely but maybe we'll be proven wrong. (And as I said in another post
I wonder if Jeff Lawrence is the same guy who used to be on WCGY and WODS and I think a station in NH?)

Weekly Dig has another long-running free arts/ent. paper in town as competition...yes, THEM.
"It's the Phoenix...from Boston USAAAAAAAAAA!" (old jingle) Tweaking 'em?

little Jason wolf seems worried..heard he needs his little short pants. Jason is such a clown. He thinks he is so smart with NO competition..98.5 comes on with a weak line-up(except for PM drive), and WEEI loses in less then 1 year..they can't fire the whole air staff...major changes coming in 2011..
