WEEI regular callers

The all-to-familiar voices (enough said) with their harrangs, are getting very, very, old: so are references to them. When they show up,I hit another preset.
There should be a once per week rule. If they want to get in on a daily basis, let it be on the Weiner Line.

Yes, there should be some kind of limit for the "regulars" like Frank from Glocester, Mike from Canton (just to name a couple). These "regulars" take up too much time from other listeners who want to call but can't get through, because of these "regulars." Out of the two "regulars" I mentioned, I would rather listen to Frank's useless drivel then Mike's. Sometimes, Frank is funny just listening to his smoker's voice, and him trying to sound intelligent.

I'm guessing you weren't around when Butch from the Cape was alive, er, still on the lam.

Mike from Canton does only call once a week. Craig hasn't figured out another way to kick off his show yet.

"HIYA FELLAS! Listen Larry, the Yankees are awesome, The Sox stink. Their problem is this, their problem is that. I love Joe Torre. That auto mechanic is great. Talk to you next week"

And Frank......."Listen..Big O! Listen, Listen, Listen...."
"Yes, but Frank, what do you..."
"Listen, Listen, Listen, Listen, Listen, Listen, Listen....GA-BYE MEN!"

I disagree. I used to listen to WEEI from 8am to 6pm every day at work. Yes, regular callers can be a pain BUT if you limit regular callers, you'll open more phone time for callers to ask the same question that at least one of the last 10 callers asked each hour for the last 10 hours. Understanding that not everyone has heard the full show and heard 2 callers ask their EXACT same question, that in itself can be worse than jack from lynn, butch from the cape, frank "hello men" from gloucester, etc etc

The Whiner Line can be really funny...jokes, imitations, etc. The guy who
imitates Francona (he had one gag when he kept going back and forth between
Terry and Grady Little), etc. HEY ORDWAYYYYYY!

> I second that. Actually, what I find funny is the amount of abuse heaped on these regulars from the EEI hosts on a regular basis. That's what EEI (Ordway, Callahan, etc.) does best.
