What a Zleeze. Why don't they just fire the jerk?
He is done. FOX spends a lot nationally on Entercom promoting TV and films. To get that money back Kirk has to go.

They did the right thing and gave him a chance after the first rant. He obviously got a talking to and didn't listen. It almost sounded like he "wanted" to be fired. Direct insubordination is never good.
Today's Herald says a prod. for Dennis & Callahan, Craig Sawisch, was given a one day suspension. He was playing a bit from the movie Goodfellas and apparently missed bleeping out one of many of Joe Pesci's F-words. Herald says nobody complained but they still issued the punishment.
The occasional swear word has gotten through on stations like WEEI. One Labor Day weekend they were talking to Bill Lee, who was going to take part in a charity baseball game, and he told the story of how a manager came out to the mound to take him out.
"We're taking you out of the game," said the manager, and Mr. Spaceman had replied, "No s--t". Got through on air.
