WEEK 1 LATE NIGHT AUDIENCE: KIMMEL +5%, LENO -20%, LETTERMAN -16%

These are just premiere week ratings. One week of late night show ratings doesn't matter.
Remember the adage, it's not a sprint, it's a marathon.

If you really want to boast about how great Kimmel's doing, go look at last week's late night ratings you'll see that Kimmel (last week at a 0.4) lost half of Nightline's 18-49 audience (last week at a 0.8 ) only 25 mins after.

Reruns of My Name Is Earl 11%
ShamWOW Infomercials 9%

I'm waiting to hear how Jimmy Kimmel is doing in Chicago now that his show is finally on at 11pm. WLS-TV delayed Jimmy Kimmel by an hour, because they found reruns of Oprah more profitable, & his show was competing with Jimmy Fallon & Craig Ferguson instead of Jay Leno & David Letterman. With Oprah gone from OTA TV, WLS-TV moved Jimmy Kimmel to 11pm, where all other ABC & ABC affiliate stations show it in the central time zone. What's airing in the old Jimmy Kimmel timeslot in Chicago? None other than Windy City Live reruns (the show that replaced Oprah at 9am).
