So I know we have touched on this topic a little before, but I was wondering if we could re-vist. Im talkin about Weekends and the Weekenders.... Being a person who works many hours during the week, my radio consumption is pretty much limited to the weekend hours only. Which is fine with me, because I find that many stations have some good weekenders and part time jocks? What do you think? any favorites?? if so what station and who?.
PRO?
Coast?
HJY?
Lite Rock?
Fun 107?
Hot 106?
B101?

PRO-Fm's Weekenders are all weekday people. Except for J-Buff who is only on weekends when he is home from college.

HJY's weekends = all voicetracked. Not even worth it.

FUN 107 have a few good weekenders in Erica Kay, Ron Medeiros, J-Rod, Scott Renichie (sp?). Then they have a few bad ones in the same breath.

The B101 weekend staff is good & combined with the fact that there's more music variety on the weekend B it's a good time to listen. But alas sometimes the best potential full-timers are the weekenders who wouldn't even consider it.

I've always liked Ron Medeiros no matter what station he's on even though I catch Fun 107 only in passing.

There's a guy I hear on Coast,Greg Hillier, that I think is really good. He used to be on WXLO where I don't think they even have weekenders anymore. He may not even be on every weekend but he has a nice conversational delivery with a bit of wit.

And I guess Larry Kruger isn't on Lite anymore is he, but I'll include him anyway.
