WEEKENDS:WHO'S ON FIRST

Or rather, who's on at all. HJY still has a couple. None at Coast. B101 let them all go then called a couple back for one show a month, I suspect so they would have warm bodies for live shows during the week if and when needed.

On The Trail, Hot seems to have a bevy of part timers but I assume almost everyone there is part time anyway. Dunno about Lite. One weekender passed away this year and I don't know if they actually have any. PRO-fm had that Jay Buff kid but he's missing from the website. That could just mean they're not putting weekenders on the website so I don't know if he's stll there.

Cat Country still has'em.

Sad state of affairs, but then there was a time when weekend jocks were on a waiting list for future full time or were getting their feet wet to go get jobs elsewhere but with no jobs elsewhere and nobody about to be moved up to full time maybe it's understandable. Do Providence PDs even get airchecks anymore or is the word out?

The only people who care about weekenders are weekenders.

Johnny Skidmarks hasn't been with the station since Jan of this year. He was let go during one of the big firings. Good to see you pay attention! lol
