I really like your rock leaned chr adult station.. I always tune in if im in the northeast,, castleton, Geist area, Fischers Lawrence... very polished school station.. nice alternative to radio now, I-94 and z99.5,,, not to take away from those cool stations, but having an extra preset is nice... I live near greenwood and I can only barely get reception here except in early morning.. I think you are capable of a full power station,, I think they should give you guys 107.9......yeah...?????? You sound way better than Wlbc 104.1, which im guessing is the major thorn in your side..
 
Thank you for the compliments. We try real hard to sound "professional" whatever that means anymore. I like to think we are in the middle of a triangle between X103, Z99.5 & RadioNow. I don't worry too much about WLBC, they are still playing Prince's "Kiss" between currents (or at least that's what I heard about 2 months ago).

From what I hear, we are actually the thorn in LBC's side. I don't think they appreciate trying to compete against a "high school" station! We got our first Arb mentions in the Summer. Hopefully, that will continue to increase. We are working on polishing our talent, which is on the up-swing too. It's unique because we can't necessarily choose our talent, sort of like a high school basketball team...you gotta work with what you have.
