[Interstate 78]

i was talking about WMGH in tamaqua being an odd station in another thread, well i gave WEEU down in Reading a listen for the first time in awhile this past week and that station seems a bit bizarre too. the morning show charlie and company is fun at times, but extremely boring and dry at others. he has this guy ... i think its the sports guy ... doing banter with him and it sometimes gets as boring as watching paint dry. and what's up with the traffic reports? they all sound the same. "uhhh no problems on the roads today." the show after charlie is better. feedback i think its called. local talk show. lots of old people call in. maybe that explains the dryness of the morning show. does this station target the 70 to 100 year old crowd? lol then they have limbaugh. then oddly enough i sometimes hear music after 3. then sports or syndicated talk at night. i'm not sure about weekends, but i think there used to be music during the weekends. not sure if that's still the same. anyhow, i saw in the paper that they're celebrating their 75th anniversary so even if the station is super bizarre, i guess its good to see a locally owned station surviving, like WMGH up in tamaqua.

They could do better. You are right about the traffic guy. He's miserable and wants to go back to St. Louis. Why anybody is preventing him form doing this is beyond me. Just go back to St. Louis already! yayda yada!
