WEGP Presque Isle off for now

If I owned the station, tried selling it to someone and that deal fell through (via FCC docs) I'd pull the plug on it too. Electrical bill can be quite expensive for a 25kw AMer. The bird fed talk programming basically costs nothing, other than air time.

Howie Carr just said on air "we lost one of our stations up in Maine,up in the County (Aroostook) because they went out of business. We're gonna replace it."

Bos Herald had list of Red Sox radio affiliates provided by team and WEGP was on it..well I don't know if they're back on air yet but since they're going non-comm I guess it's time to get a different affiliate for the team in 'the County'...
