WEGR HD2 Changes

This morning I noticed that WEGR HD2 is "Rock Nation".

The had been running "The Alternative".

I enjoyed the old format. I haven't had enough time listening to make any sort of opinion on the change.

I haven't been able to determine if other stations that had The Alternative have also changed. I know it's also on in Little Rock and Dallas.

Yes, I do listen to HD radio...if I'm directly under WEGR's transmitter in Brunswick and can get a decent signal...

I have one. I listened to it twice. It's one of those cute little Insignia portables. It's in my car if anyone wants to steal it. Please leave the iPod alone though.

I have one in one of the cars, and I have one of the $50 portables that I use at the gym. BBC is cool when I am at the gym.

I have to admit that would be the ONLY reason I would get an HD radio. WKNO is about all I listen to now on my commute.
 
I also listen to the Jazz station on 101.1 HD2 quite a bit.

HD offerings are slim picking in the mid-south... I still can't decide why 94.1 would put commedy on theirs instead of offering a format not available here.

HD in Dallas is amazing with spots airing on many of them already. I think Little Rock's HD pickings are better than ours even.
