It's official. WEGR now has the same size air staff as its predecessor, WZXR, did back in the 70's...ZERO.
 
I think it's pretty obvious that CC is in the process of burying Rock 103. Sometimes, it just takes a little while to dig the hole.

A little birdie at Rizzi's in Arlington told me that Brian Elder is about to launch a new morning show. It seems people who have not worked with Brian easily forget how big of a liabilty he is. Granted he is talented but uncontrollable. I also have a hard time believing that CC would just lay down and give all the rock audience to Citadel. My prediction is that Entercom will take another shot at country.
 
Maybe Entercom will beef of WMC AM which is already country or do you think they'll take ESPN of the FM dial and just keep it on AM?

Well, this won't be brian's first time with Rock, him and elder did it a long time ago.....I saw the cassette that had their "best of" on time in the studio
 
Who said anything about ROCK. The format could easily be flipped to country. They certainly fit a MALE focused morning show i.e. ROCk better than they do on country. Again, it has to be someone willing to tollarate Brain Elder's baggage and his desire to be a politicain, and NOBODY telling him what to he can and can't do, etc.
