Anyone know what's going on with WEHM 92.9?
Haven't been able to tune in west of Westhampton Beach for almost a week.
Keep getting classical music from CT or static! Did they move their tower or something?

I think there's been a lot of tropo lately. I know that even on days when there isn't tropo, every so often a station from Providence and another from Pennsylvania of all places interferes with the signal on my car radio...while listening in the Stony Brook/Port Jeff area.

Tropo is strange. Sometimes, none of the fringe stations come in, then all of the sudden a few hours later they sound like locals.

Tonight, in Lake Grove, WTIC, which is usually good, was not even there. Hours later, I took it all the way back to Babylon like a local.

Nah, I don't think it's tropo. It was like someone threw a switch and it's
91.1 from CT on 92.9's frequency.

Checking wshu.org and fcc.gov, I don't see ANY current or pending licenses for WSHU translators on 92.9 ..

Maybe I confused, it sounded like you were hearing classical on 92.9
