weird happenings with digital channels in philadelphia

Yesterday, I noticed that I can receive KJWP 2.1 from Wilmington Delaware. They were showing the national feed of ME-TV for a few hours then went to showing color bars. Was this a test or will they be carrying ME-TV permanently.

Second, WWJT has been showing music videos on a loop, but with NO SOUND. Anyone know if this is also a test or does this mean the return of Channel 7.1 as a music video station like in the analog days. The videos range from 1989 to 2013, but are Rap and R&B.

Third, I noticed that Bounce [44.2] is now listed as BouncePhilly. Have they left Atlantic City or is this just marketing because we're the bigger city?

Any serious answers are greatly appreciated.

WMCN has left AC. They are now located in Cherry Hill behind the Comcast headend. 44.1 is on both Xfinity and FiOS on both sides of the Delaware River. Like all of the AC stations except WMGM, they're targeting Philly.

I wonder how soon a channel 2 shows up on the Comcast and Verizon lineups just like we have channel 4 now. On the FiOS lineup, we reciently got channel 4 in HD on 504, infomercials in HD.

From what I've read, KJWY was a MeTV affilate in Wyoming...and as KJWP Wilmington, it will remain a MeTV affilate. Over the air, WFMZ does not always come in. Plus, MeTV is on the main channel, not a sub-channel, like WFMZ.

WMCN still has it's COL in Atlantic City. It's office is in Cherry Hill though.

It's definitely going to be interesting how that one plays out. WFMZ's Me advertises at MeTV Philadelphia and the MeTV subchannel is on Comcast and Fios for most of the Philly market.

But the OTA signal doesn't come in for most of the Philly DMA that's not Lehigh Valley, with a basic indoor antenna. While this new station may carry some MeTV on the primary channel, it likely will need a heavy dose of informercials to pay the bills.
