WEKS 92.5 "The Bear" will try out the new signal tomorrow.

WEKS, 92.5 "The Bear" will try out the new signal tomorrow afternoon.
The new transmitter site is several miles closer to Atlanta and features a new 500 foot tower.....it should be a smokin' southside signal!
Testing will be done throughout the next week or so. There may be periods where operation from the old site will be necessary.

I'm guessing by the the station's nickname, this must another Country-Western station like that of "Eagle 106.7".

At least "The Bear" will reach to much slightly larger audience south of Atlanta. After all, much of the growth in the metro Atlanta area seems to be either in the suburbs, or the so-called "exurbs" like Fayette and Coweta Counties.

Since it is pride week here, "The Bear" could be a gay station. You'll have to think about that one for a while. ;)
