This being the Atlanta board, you knew it was coming...

How will this affect Q100? ;D

With these constant threats against Q100, I cannot see them hanging on much longer. :)

Well, this looks like Country music in ATL. is about to take on a new look, and I bet it will turn out great. Can't wait for what is coming. (It is about time the country music in ATL. starts to change and gets more current and now with 25k watts) Let's watch and see.

Congratulations to Chuck on the sale!
He has worked hard to make the Bear happen......the power increase took years of wrangling, cajoling, and dirty deeds to accomplish....it was a real PILL! He has put together a great staff which keeps the Bear running like a well oiled machine.
Congratulations to Joe Pedicino and the folks at Legacy Media, the new owners, for putting the deal together. Joe is in the area and will insure that local, country formatted radio will continue, in ENGLISH! From what I gather, there will be no changes regarding Moby.....only staff ADDITIONS....no changes for present employees.
I wonder how Chuck will like playin' golf fulltime!!

Looking forward to the new additions at WEKS and the new line up after the Moby show. With Joe Pedicino you know it will be great and not the same old same old routine!Congrats to chuck on a great deal!ATL watch out the big bad bear is coming for it's share....

I have been listening to the Bear to see how it is going, Uncle Rich seems to fit in pretty good with the afternoon drive and it seems as though Moby has some pep in his step as well. Maybe this is going to be better than I thought. I heard they were looking for a mid-day girl and who knows what they will do next. Joe it sounds good so far, keep up the good work.

I really don't see WEKS being a major player in Atlanta radio with a country format. To much country now in Atlanta with Kicks,Eagle and the Bull. Kicks will always be the top country station here as it's established and has a killer signal.
