Welcome Back....Bob

Some posters will probably think I have swallowed thorazine but I happen to think it is GREAT that Bob Grant is back on the radio. Kudos to Phil Boyce for making it happen.

I grew up listening to Grant when he was at WMCA and I'll admit to truly disliking some of the things Grant has to say, but more than anything else he is a talented professional and we need MORE of them on the air. He doesn't try to pass himself off as a "newsguy" or the penultimate repository of all knowledge...he is a "New Yawker" and an unabashed one at that.

I actually agree with you. I've been able to catch him on wabc at night from here in New Hampshire, and I enjoy listening to a professional like him. It is like hearing my great uncle talking about his service in he military. I actually pay attention to everything Mr. grant says.
