I will be the first to admit that I have been VERY critical of the performance of Buddy since he returned to the radio. He has sounded unprepared, off the cuff, and totally sliding.......Until today !!! Today we heard the Buddy we expected to hear from day one. On his game, knowledgeable, and viable. Rip Van Winkle has awoken. This is great talk radio...finally !!!!

Nobody should have expected him to slide right in. It takes time to get into the seat and get things working right. I listened for a good portion of this morning while I was running errands, and your right, Buddy was very insightful about how things worked when he was in office and how they should still be working. Agreed though about the outrage over school kids on the busses at 11 o'clock. When I left Metro at 9:15 last night, there was a school bus stuck in the ice on Canal street, and another school bus had collided with a RIPTA bus after that, closer to smith. Unacceptable. Hindsight is always 20/20, but school should have been cancelled for the day.

either cancalled or god forbid keep them there till mess was somwhat under controll.... im sure they woulda been alot more comfy in the school vurses the bus......props to the bus drivers who had to keep the kids under control......... and say what yuo want about cianci..... but this kind of BS never happend while he was in office i would take cianci as mayer over cicilline 10 times over it just scares me the cicilline wants to run for gov. and he cant even take the city of providence through a snowstorm

Like Buddy or not. He knows how to run a city. The events Thursday. Have shown us, the current administration
in Providence has failed to serve its citizens. And 20 School Buses today (Friday) having some sort of problem on the road. Is totally unacceptable.

Buddy was in rare form today giving Ciclilline lessons on damage control & calling him "kid". Not only did his talk show skills shine but also his management skills. WPRO's glory days are here & this time it took only about 7 inches of snow instead of a blizzard of '78.

Buddy has always had a passion for politics. That is why he was so good when it came to discussing this whole storm mess. It was his opportunity to critique the mayor and others who may have screwed up. It was his moment to shine. It is clearly obvious to me that Buddy has the ability to put on a great show as long as the material is something he is passionate about.

People from other boards who read the Providence board.Must scratch thier head when they come over here.Some of the stuff we disscuss is unbelievable.To the piont if we were writing a sitcom.I dont think any of us could make half of the stuff we disscuss on a good day.

As for Cianci,I was another one critical of him returning and I am still not at all means a big fan of his.I will however give credit where credit is due.Cianci was right on the money.Even criticizing Ciicciline to get rid of the dead wieght in his administration if he wants to move forward in his carreer.
