Looks like it's time to head the RV east so I can get a better signal!
Thousands of baby boomer's are headed to Albuquerque to retire too; some baby boomer's who took Grandmas advice and stuffed the mattress instead of some greedy CEO's pocket; Those baby boomer's have plenty of money to spend too.

If you can't see the RV's, please stay off the highways!

Hey Whats with Big Ben & Box doing a two man show????

I thought it was Box In The Morning Blah Blah Blah....could they be trying to move the legend aside??? What A shame if so especially with His Killer Numbers on Saturdays.

I am Loving The Music Mix on 98.5 Snif & the Tears doing Drivers Seat On Big 98.5

The evolution of box to weekends is beginning.
A smart move..weekends are ideal for longer form specialty shows that Mr. Box can excel.
I say "Mr." as I've met him several times, he is the consumate gentleman..but his time
on morning radio has to be numbered by management. Just as moving the music up a few years is inevitable, so is the movement of personalities.

So are you saying B.Box Days are Numbered as a Full time Jock on 98.5?

After years as a stand alone Morning guy, why does AGM feel the need to put him with a partner?

Is it because they are concerned he will not follow the format?

I would think if they were going to Keep him & Build a NEW morning show they would have given him a

Younger Female News/traffic side kick to play off of?

I love The Box Man he is a unique personality he is kind of like a living version of the Wil Ferrel Anchor Man Movie..without the 70's clothes well almost without the 70's clothes

The Albuquerque radio market will indeed suffer a loss if BB is turned out to pasture.

This skinny old jock (said in reverence) with the deep resonant voice has endured over so many years. His flubs and his miscues are overwhelmed by his vast knowledge of rock n’ roll, and in fact, some of his best qualities are that he is down to earth, he relates to his audience, and he can recite a long ago song title or artist when many are scratching their heads.

State of the art caught up with BB when music libraries went from vinyl to CDs, but his jock abilities kept him afloat and in the hearts of his fans.

Think about it AGM. BB is not just a personality to be tossed away like yesterday’s leftovers.

I agree as It was I who Hired Box at 98.5 in 97 and gave him Afternoons in 99....they should treat him with respect and leave him alone in Mornings, I should not say that because from my view from where I work The clutter of 2 guys yak yak in the mornings is fine with me

Please know that I respect highly Mr. Box and his knowledge and position in Albuquerque broadcasting.
But I suspect whoever has a hand in the programming there, the thought is to NOT bump him from the station,
but to perhaps, as stated before, use his knowledge in longer form weekend type specialty programming.
They will not be playing the old hits for too much longer. It's already happening, and the transition will continue.
