Well, here we are! The Magic of Christmas is underway on WMJJ Magic 96.5 FM. Hope you all enjoy the great music and have a blessed Thanksgiving! :)

...or for me it's Lazer 101, Y-102, 95.1 The Fox, American Family Radio, Faith Radio from Montgomery and the all new WRNF 89.5 FM (Moody Radio), along with the B-Ham stations I'm able to get.

...I'll be tuning in to Magic 96, once they get the Christmas spirit over with and when I'm able to get them.

I like Christmas music but it would be better to play it, from 5 P.M. Christmas Eve till 12 P.M. Christmas day, like Lazer 101 does.

Speaking of a filp, I believe that Mix 103 in Montgomery will be switching to the Yuletime toons, after Thanksgiving.

...So long Mix, I'll see you after Christmas, if my prediction is correct.

Have a happy Thanksgiving and a Merry Christmas.

I like Christmas music every once in a while, but I have to agree...Christmas music for six weeks time? Who's going to listen to it for that length of time? It'd be better just to play it for a day or two before Christmas. It's supposed to remind us of what the season is really about, but by the time we've heard Christmas music for six weeks or more, it's just not as meaningful. Most of the Christmas music feasts we have these days, too, focus primarily on more of the secular Christmas tunes. Nothing wrong with "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" or "Frosty the Snowman", but whatever happened to the spiritual Christmas songs? After all, the name of the holiday is Christmas...

btw, "Mix" would probably sound better doing all Christmas music. I don't listen to them a whole lot, but when I do, it seems they're always playing the same stuff over and over and over...

Here in mobile/pensacola market, 107.3 joined the ship.
Mobile 99.9 should be joining soon.
Pensacola 94.1 soon.

I hope they lose accounts (sponsors) for this bull crap of all yule tunes this damn early.

Huntsville is on board. Lite 96.9 has flipped to all christmas, as they do traditionally every year. For the past few years Star 99.1 has also gotten on board as "The Christmas Star" but so far they haven't yet. I always found it strange that both A/C stations here flip to all christmas leaving the market without an A/C station for the holidays. It is big for ratings so I guess we'll see what happens this year. I agree with everyone so far on this one. I like christmas music but I can't listen to it for 6 weeks strait. I prefer stations that do it the old traditional way by mixing the christmas songs in with their regular format throughout the day, then go all christmas on christmas eve and christmas day.
