Is WELE for sale?
Doug was asking an astronomical price...like $1.4 Million. Personally,I'd wait for the Fire Sale...you might be able to get it for $75,000.

Before everyone jumps to any conclusions....there is another side to the story....

Talk WELE-A/DAYTONA BEACH owner and host DOUG WILHITE is out of jail on $100,000 bond and back on the air, reports THE ORLANDO SENTINAL.

"WILHITE was arrested FRIDAY by VOLUSIA COUNTY Sheriff's investigators after they served a search warrant at his home near ORMOND BEACH. He faces a charge of sexual battery, accused of engaging in sex acts with a teenage boy on multiple occasions.

"While bantering on air with another host, BIG JOHN, WILHITE said, 'I can't tell the story.'

'In an interview with the ORLANDO SENTINEL, JOHN said he thought WILHITE 'may be the victim of his own good deeds. I don't think everyone knows enough to make a judgment at this time.'

"The alleged victim told investigators he participated in sex acts with WILHITE about a dozen times, usually after drinking alcohol.

"WILHITE told officials he didn't participate in sex acts, although the boy repeatedly asked him to. He also told investigators that 'on numerous occasions he would entice the children to have sex on the pool table,' the report said."
