Dick Coughlin (WGN Bugs Bunny host) owned these in Glen Ellyn and Elgin.

Does anyone know their History? What shut them off? Is Coughlin still living??

According to this site, WELF was on 107.1 from Glen Ellyn in the early '60s, while WELG was on 103.9 circa 1960-61. Per the 1963 Vane Jones station guide, both stations were on the air that year but were gone by '66.
