Some time ago, before radio-info.com became radiodiscussions.com and therefore all but the top 20 markets in the country could easily be accessed, this board was lively.
But following the above transition, many of the posters and readers of this board went to voy.com's Pittsburgh TV/Radio thread, which provided one to be able to post under any handle they wished (I know, I changed mine a million times) instead of an unofficial identity.
With this change came a much more critical tone, and gone was the feeling of community the Pittsburgh radio-info.com board had.
I have no idea why the voy.com board is on the fritz. Perhaps the poster who criticized one broadcaster's Malaprop in the process of misspelling the broadcaster's name caused even computer science to realize how petty people could be on there and it imploded.
But, for the time being, this is once again the place to talk about the broadcasting industry in Pittsburgh.
Welcome back, folks. I hope we can have some wonderful discussions, and without having to wait a day for one's writing to be posted.
