Well, That Was Quick: Rashan Ali Leaving V-103

Well, she was only offered a 1 year contract when CBS Radio Atlanta brought her on the air, last year. I'm not sure if she refused it or they didn't offer an extension. However, she does have a regular gig on NBA TV as a commentator and sideline reporter, so she should be alright. Also let's not forget that she was well received by viewers of the 11 Alive "Atlanta & Company" daytime local feature show...

I can tell you guys now what CBS Radio Atlanta might be lining up in the future for the morning show, afternoons, and evenings. Ryan Cameron will be doing mornings in the future with Elle Duncan as his main co-host, and Kenny Burns is being "prepped" to be the future afternoon drive personality on V-103. Also Lil Bankhead and DJ Infamous are being groomed to take over for Greg Street with their "The Takeover" weekend evening show. However, I don't know the time table of when these moves will occur...

I heard Bankhead and Infamous just added Sunday nights to there lineup. What happenned to syndicated Big Tigger? I just can't keep up with V and the jocks anymore. Bubby Love, Kenny Burns, Sytonnia, Shay Moore, Osei, Luscious(the stripper) and Im sure Im missing some other part-timer. BTW, what was behind the hiring of Luscious???

Big Tigger syndicated show is moving to Saturday mornings from 8am-noon. Bubby Love is a full timer that does overnights (although on at least 1-2 nights a week there is a part-timer filling in for him). Kenny Burns now does Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 2-6pm. What was behind Luscious' hiring? Uh, I'm not even going to try to answer that one because I've heard one too many rumors with the reasoning behind that one decision...

An update, it looks like Elle Duncan is back as Ryan Cameron's co-host in the afternoons and Charlie Seal is now the official traffic guy.

Yep. She was introduced as his partner at the semi-annual CBS luncheon today.

Boy V-103 is playing musical chairs with Elle! Who moves to mornings replacing her?

Well, yes...and no. The station was Hot 97.5 since 1995 but moved to 107.9 in 2001.

HOT 107.9's Birthday Bash #16 tickets go on sale Saturday morning.

Yes and unfortunately it knocked off the air one of Atlanta's legendary stations, 107.9 the End, for which I will always hold Ryan Cameron responsible for.

Well, in my hometown of Birmingham it's the reverse where a long time urban station, WENN 107.7, was knocked off air for an alternative rock, and I'll always hold the format and Dickey Broadcasting responsible for such...
