Not content to let KT'R have a free pass after 7pm while they search for a new blabber, KFYI is putting unemployed Michael Graham to work in the slot. He's the guy who lost his gig at WMAL for comments about the religion of peace. Nurse Jeff and I caught him last night and were impressed...of course it doesn't take much to make us happy, as long as that whiney Roberta Gale isn't on! Graham is good and has a lot of passion for his work, that right now being host du jour for Clear Channel stations looking to fill voids.

Meanwhile.. wassup with the annoying Barry Markson for the annoying Barry Young? We didn't think there was anyone at KFYI who could spend 50 minutes setting up a one minute topic better than the nearly famous one. But Markson has proven us wrong as he goes on and on and on and on and...WAIT A MINUTE -we're now sounding just as annoying as he does! Oh pull-lease, put the Nearly Bald One back on with his goofy sound effects and unnecessary sidekick Cruella, otherwise we're headed to Sky Harbor to hear Michael Dixon remind us the moving sidewalk is coming to an end. The Nurse and I are that desperate!

Barry's every bit as whiney, perhaps more, than Roberta.
Michelle Larson may be unnecessary but she's one sharp chick.

I enjoy them both; they're very intelligent women.

Markson's a joke...Fortunately, he thinks he's the hottest thing in Phoenix sports talk radio, so as long as one person thinks that way

Good, they should keep him there. And a good thing they got rid of Tony Snow, who rumor had it went to KTAR, until 620 put the kabosh on that.

I don't know what's the worst thing about Markson: 1) He's not terribly knowledgeable, 2) he sounds as if he has marbles in his mouth, or 3) he talks a mile a minute, stopping to take a breath twice an hour.

Talk about a talk-radio drive time disaster this morning! The tiresome Markson on KFYI, the equally tiresome and arrogant Leibowitz on KTAR, heaven-knows-what on KFNX and the completely boring and unentertaining Al Franken on KXXT. The off button was the best choice.

Anybody who would pat himself on the bat for hosting "The Fantasy Forum", ONLY on XTRA Sports 910 has a warped sense of his own self-importance.
