As of this writing, it's still stuck in "1999". Did anybody see anything in the newspapers about it flipping? Just curious.

Nothing definite. A reader asked the paper's Answer Line last week about the routine with "1999." Apparently the columnist in turn had posed the question to someone in the Reynolds inner circle and the response was something on the order of "we're trying to get people's attention." Altogether typical and vague from Rusty and company while they get ready to do whatever it is they're going to do. Not letting the cat out of the bag too soon. Perhaps the answer is just around the corner.

I would say tune in at 12 noon or 5p and see if it changes then. Gotta give'em credit. It's certainly created a buzz

Spill it.

It's more likely you still work for them. The format will be Urban of some type. Most likely current. "Reezy'" style of teasing pretty much gave it away, but there are other sources in the reynold's rap camp.

can you tell us when I'll just like to hear the switch

ERM, I could see that. Seems to me he didn't start posting until after The Bull went to pasture for good.

One of Rusty's designated hitters. Dare we venture to guess, the man himself? Perhaps he likes to come up on the board and mingle with us common folk.

Come on guys. It's Jay Rio...former morning man for the Blaze. He signed an earlier post as -Rio

The new format will be Urban AC and will pull two or three times the ratings than actual listeners. One thing for sure...the Reynolds boys have come to realize how to make the most of Arbitron and their diary weighting. Go after the audience that has the lowest diary return rate so that you can get double the ratings from the diary's that are returned.

The Blaze will be #1 and the new station will be #2 leaving the others to fight it out for #3 through #10. Reynolds will be laughing all the way to the bank.

KTYL is doing pretty well now, but I always thought they should have moved from Jammin' Oldies to Urban AC. It would have made for a smoother transition.

There once was a station, the Bull
In the market it had some pull
But it's music was disturbin'
So now it'll go urban

(Fill in the last couplet ERM)

And 99-3 comes out of its lull.

Then the dark cloud finally rains on DRU
the station switches to Hurban with a "U"
Dru races to apply at KNUE
The ground tremors with laughter from the PD
Meanwhile the Barbque smells real sweet
Now that Dru will be on the street
