It also doesn’t help that his wife is a state representative. Even though she is of the party that WHAS caters to, they’ve always been very careful to keep that and the afternoon at least somewhat apolitical, because they’re trying to reach a broader audience than those who doesn’t want to hear even a hint of politics in those slots.
 
According to the WHAS on-air schedule on their website, here is the new morning lineup:

Tony Vanetti
6:00 AM - 8:00 AM

Tony & Dwight
8:00 AM - 10:00 AM

Leland Conway
10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Earlier today, Leland teased big news on Monday morning via social media. Leland, who held the 9-noon slot before the 2020 cuts, currently hosts in San Diego on KOGO.
 
However, I just checked KOGO's on air listing and Leland is no longer listed. I assumed he was picking up an additional slot, but it looks like he is moving on from KOGO back to WHAS (maybe from cuts in San Diego). He now lives in Wyoming.
