So from all reports I'm hearing, the End staff Ipods appear to consist of classic rock, country, and top 40. I'm curious if, being a modern rock station, any of them actually took the opportunity to play deeper modern or indie rock? or techno or alt hiphop or anything that wasn't usual CC fare in a more random order?

The whole thing sounded horrible (though Jack at Night's deep Pink Floyd cut were OK).

This, along with all those weekends of hair metal, are killing any credibility The End ever had with a true new rock fan (I won't even call them alternative). Jack Daniel needs to admit that he misses his old Fox job and beg the CC execs to let him walk down the hall. Those same execs then need to get a PD who can make The End sound more like 99X in Atlanta, WFNX in Boston or Indie 103.1 in LA (the latter owned by CC by the way).

Clear Channel has some decent sounding alternative stations around the country. Surely they can do the same for The End rather then the sham it is right now. Either fix it or flip it.
